Language, communication & access helpGaeilge · Polski · Українська · Română · العربية · Français · Español

Yes. Before arranging a session, ask whether the practice can support your language, communication or access needs. This applies to online sessions too. You can ask about a written reply, clearer written instructions, breaks, captions or interpreter arrangements. Availability and suitability must be confirmed with the practice; these options are not promised. You do not need to include a diagnosis or medical history in your first message.

Before you enquire
Availability and replies
Ask the practice before arranging a first conversation; enquiry capacity and calendar openings are confirmed separately. Ask the practice about typical response time. Ask what to do if Jacqueline is away or you have not received a reply.
Who the service supports
Confirm whether Jacqueline works with your age group and whether the support you are seeking is within her practice. Keep personal health details for an agreed private conversation.
Getting to the cabin
The practice is based at Tullyduff, Kilmaine, Co. Mayo, F31 FY75. Ask about access needs before booking so the practice can plan with you. Ask about parking, steps and the entrance before agreeing a visit. Arrival details are shared privately.
Payment and changes
Payment details are shared before booking. The practice will share cancellation and rescheduling details before an appointment is confirmed. Ask about cancellation notice and any charge before confirming.

Your first message can simply ask about availability and an initial call. The call length and any fee are agreed separately; an enquiry does not confirm an appointment.

An initial call or therapy by telephone

Arrange an initial phone call to ask questions and discuss whether working together is suitable. Confirm the call length and any fee before it takes place.

Telephone therapy may be arranged after discussing suitability, privacy and how sessions will work. Agree a private place, who calls whom, and what to do if the connection drops or urgent support is needed.

Before telephone therapy begins, Jacqueline needs to confirm that the work is within her remote-practice competence, supervision and insurance cover. Sensitive details belong in the agreed therapy session, rather than an initial enquiry or voicemail.

More time, and a pace agreed together

An extended in-person session offers more time within an appointment. The length, pace, breaks and fee are agreed beforehand and reviewed together. A longer session does not guarantee fewer visits or faster progress.

If difficult or traumatic experiences are part of what brings you to therapy, discuss an appropriate approach with Jacqueline first. Any trauma work must be within her training, experience and supervision. You can pause, change the pace or review the plan; another service may be more suitable.

Training, confidentiality and professional standards

Jacqueline Moran — Pre-Accredited Member IACP. Membership number M15406. Ask Jacqueline about her exact qualification and the training relevant to your needs. ICPPD is a training provider; IACP is a professional association. Pre-accredited membership and full accreditation are distinct.

Discuss confidentiality and its limits, supervision, record keeping, referral options and the practice complaints procedure before beginning. Linking to professional guidance does not mean IACP has approved these fees, session lengths or this website.

Say what you need.

A sentence about fit, format, timing, or access is enough. You do not need to explain your whole story before speaking with Jackie Moran.

Choose a human route.

Call, text or WhatsApp, send a Facebook message, or email when that route is shown above. There is no calendar, payment, account, or automated booking step here.

Keep privacy in mind.

These are ordinary contact channels, not a secure clinical portal. Jackie Moran can explain confidentiality, consent, fit, and next steps privately.

What happens next

What happens
next.

Jackie Moran will respond personally with the practical next step. That may be a short conversation about fit, format, availability, or whether another kind of support would be more appropriate. Contact is not a diagnosis or a confirmed appointment.

This website is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource in your area. For immediate danger, use Read current HSE urgent-help guidance (Opens in a new tab) or local emergency services.
